Alyssa Johnson is a non-binary, free-ranging illustrator who spent their childhood moving around and exploring new things. She loves to combine her love of story, folklore, and the wild world into vibrantly colored illustrations or complex concepts.​

​

She earned her BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University with a minor in Anthropology to boot. They are currently pursuing their MFA in Illustration and Visual Culture from Washington University in St. Louis. They combine their training and passions to create art that encompasses various perspectives, and is always asking questions about how they views the world.
